Professional Experience
|
Mr. Stevens began his career in public accounting in 1992 and is a cofounder of Cooney, Faulkner & Stevens, LLC. He provides accounting, taxation, valuation and business consulting services for individuals and closely-held businesses in various industries including professional service, manufacturing, oil and gas, retail, temporary staffing, technology, real estate, construction and distribution. Clients range in size from start-up businesses to over $1 billion in annual revenues.
He has performed business valuation services for family limited partnerships, manufacturers, distributors, publishers, retail pharmacies, general and specialty contractors, engineering, temporary staffing, dental laboratories, insurance agencies, and technology clients for use in gift and estate tax returns, shareholder disputes, domestic relations matters, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans. He has performed damage calculations in breach of contract and wrongful termination cases and has been admitted as an expert witness in Domestic Relations Court.
