Crystal Faulkner, CPA, CFFA - Financial & Business Consultant
A financial and business consultant, Ms. Faulkner is one of three founding partners of Cooney Faulkner & Stevens.
The firm was named the 2004 Small Business of the Year by the
Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, making it the first accounting firm to
receive the honor.
Ms. Faulkner is passionate about the fundamentals of financial
education. She firmly believes that the lack of financial skills was
an instrumental factor in the current economic crisis we are facing in
our nation. She also believes that a community where the workforce is
better educated in personal finance creates a more competitive business
environment. As part of her commitment, Ms. Faulkner founded Accounting
for Kids Day to introduce financial concepts and teach money management
to elementary school students. Accounting for Kids is now in its 9th
year and garnered more than 1,300 volunteers who reached 11,500 kids
across Ohio last fall.
Ms. Faulkner was honored as one of Ohio's Most Influential CPAs by The
Ohio Society of CPA's in 2009 and was named a 2008 YWCA Career Woman of
Achievement and a 2008 Leading Woman. Ms. Faulkner hosts the weekly
Business Report on WCPO Channel 9 and the Financial Beat segment of
Fifth Third Business Beat on WCET. She co-hosts WNKU and WMKV
BusinessWise, an on-air business advisory radio talk show.
