Crystal Faulkner Receives John F. Barrett Entrepreneur Vision Award

Crystal Faulkner, partner and co-founder of Cooney Faulkner & Stevens (CFS), has been selected as a recipient of this year’s John F. Barrett Entrepreneur Vision Award Class of 2014.

This award honors entrepreneurs who have had a major impact on the formation and success of their company; demonstrated exceptional leadership and continue to thrive and be a key contributor in the workplace as well as in the community.

“I am proud and honored to be a recipient,” said Faulkner.  “To receive such a prestigious award is a testament of our client’s loyalty and our hardworking staff who have supported me and our firm for 15 years.”

The John F. Barrett Entrepreneur Vision Award is presented by the Entrepreneurs’ Organization of Greater Cincinnati and Venue Magazine, Greater Cincinnati’s Lifestyle publication.  The award luncheon will be held on October 23rd at The Center in Cincinnati.

Cooney Faulkner & Stevens was started by three partners 15 years ago as a business advisory firm focused on being true advocates for privately-held businesses and their owners. Their goal was always to be more than just tax professionals; it was to be innovative financial problem solvers, business advocates and involved members of the community.

“Our clients have always been the key to our success,” said Faulkner. “We’ve enjoyed growing with them and building lasting relationships. We’re truly grateful for those who were instrumental in helping us establish our business and those who support us as we continue to expand.”

In June 2012, the Cincinnati chapter of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization established the John F. Barrett Vision Award to honor his outstanding entrepreneurial vision and spirit in Cincinnati. Mr. Barrett is chairman, president and chief executive officer of Western & Southern Financial Group, a Cincinnati-based diversified family of financial services companies with assets owned and managed in excess of $55 billion. Mr. Barrett is a recognized leader in the business community and financial services industry.
